As the largest coal testing laboratory in Britain, TES Bretby is uniquely placed to provide analytical testing services for the emerging renewable and alternative fuels Market.
TES Bretby is active at all major UK ports and has several established contracts for independent certification of imported coal shipments. TES Bretby has UK laboratories in the Midlands and Scotland. In addition we have sampling facilities in the UK at the ports of Portishead, Immingham, and Swansea. TES also maintains Joint Venture sampling and laboratory facilities in Venezuela, Colombia and South Africa.
By acting as intermediary between the fuel producers and users, TES Bretby deliver accurate information on fuel properties to facilitate price negotiations, ensure consistent quality and control emissions.
TES Bretby has provided accredited preparation and analysis services, including a full quality assurance and validification system, to major traditional fuel suppliers and users for many years. TES Bretby are now also providing fuel authenticity records, with full traceability, from sustainable and renewable fuel sources right from source through to combustion.
